Magic Jumping Herbs! Help!

Ok, so I bought some Yohimbe powder on-line and I stick a spoon in it and suddenly a whole bunch of it flies all over the place as if by magic. I move the spoon a little, more grains of Yohimbe powder jump up all over in every direction as if frantically trying to get away from the spoon!

Alright so, I know this is because it's super charged with static electricity and I HATE IT. How do I get rid of this static electricity? Every time I put a spoon in, it jumps all over the place and makes a mess.

I have no idea how it got like that. It arrived in the mail like that. Maybe while it was shipped it got charged. It’s super charged with static. If you touch it just slightly it jumps all over the place. It's kind of cool to see it. It almost looks alive. The kids love watching it bounce around. I've never seen anything with that much static electricity before. It doesn't seem to be going away either. The problem is that every time I get some to make tea, it makes a mess. It jumps out of the spoon with the slightest movement. I end up with a train of Yohimbe powder from the container to my cup and have to clean it up every time.

There must be some way to get rid of the static electricity!

Would putting it in a metal jar help?

Hahahaha!

That's funny! Is it a metallic spoon that SWIY's using? Maybe if he switches to a plastic or even better wooden spoon the stuff won't fly away!

If you stuck a piece of metal wire into the pot and connected it to an earthed object (eg a sink if you live in one of those countries with lots of safety laws), wouldn't that earth it once and for all? If not, maybe because of the air gaps, maybe you could add water to make slush, then earth it, then dry it out again? I guess your metal pot touching an earthed object would be doing the same as the wire, but more effectively.

I know this sounds weird, but try touching the container it's in to the power supply in a computer, or something like that. Computer power supplies are build to ground static charges. You are supposed to touch it before grabbing anything inside the computer, to ground static electricity, so it doesn't F-up the computers electrical.

Don't know if that would work, or if you could try it without getting Yohimbe powder all over your computer.

A very small amount of moisture should fix the issue.

Wipe a drop of watter on the inside of the bag. Potency and freshness should not be compromised by this amount of water, but it should fix the issue.
