The raw plant material works as much sublingually as insufflatory for SWIM, so I'd guess the same would go for extract. I'm told eating it requires a LOT more material, like 2g, so is wasteful. Don't know about smoking.

How much ethanol would one use to extract this 40g? And would the same go for all plants? One wouldn't want to be wasting solvent unnecessarily...
 
I'm having a problem dissolving the black extract in water. Even if I bring it to boil the black resin doesn't dissolve much :( Any ideas. Can it be it's too old or something 'cause it's been sitting in my drawer for around 4 months. What should I do?
 
In a dream I saw someone dissolving some black extract but nothing really precipated and once the yellow water was pulled out and evaporated, almost nothing remained. Strange dream but the dream character was pretty disapointed :?

SWIM has found that, for the kanna tek, regular 40%-alcohol vodka is no good unless you enjoy having horrible brown liquid dripping from your nose.
Don't know about sublingual, but may as well just use the residue from evaporation if that's your favoured method of consumption.
 
SWIM did it with isopropyl alcohol instead this time as per the tek. Dose was worked up until very mild hallucinations just in the form of plays on light were seen (although this was in conjunction with 5g torch and a few beers, so there could've been synergy, or maybe even the effects were not from the kanna). Didn't really enjoy what 'euphoria' it gave before the torch was ingested, if there was any beyond placebo. Any euphoria post-torch could've been disguised by the torch. SWIM is wondering if he had a bad batch, or if it's just a very mild experience. Do people get bad batches of kanna?

Also, might be worth putting some alcohol in your nasal spray end-product- his went mouldy after only 4 days.
 
Has anyone successfully done this with iso? Has anyone found a way to keep the liquid from spoiling (preferably without alcohol (OUCH!)

Those are the noises I'd make if I snorted vinegar. Does this stuff mold for most people?
 
Ok folks.. the toadman is back from exile..

it never molded for me.. but it might be that this is because toadman's friends use that stuff up faster than he can make it.. ;)

toadman reuses his black gunky extract a few times... the black stuff always stays at the bottom.. the water only turns yellow. then its good. after dissolving some he just dries it and uses it again when the bottle is empty.. from 40g he got 4 30ml bottles which all worked very well.. the 5th bottle was more mild.. (you needed to take about twice as much, but it still worked like a charm..)

try this squeeze the trigger 4 times then smoke a big joint! -had me washing out my nose because it came on too intense.. felt like a rocket was about to start blasting toadmans brain away ;) quite an experience!

for me its best taken cumulative like squeezing 2 times then wait 15mins. squeeze another 2 times.. and maybe a fifth.. usually toadman goes for the 4 squeeze dose.

remember.. only use it twice a month..

toadman also tried eating and smoking. insufflation is the best for the energy boosting effect.. other routes are more calming..

I read this thread with excitement quite a while back. Glad it popped back up I had forgot all about it! I look forward to hearing more peoples trials of this. It sounds amazing.
 
tonight swim'll go to a trash rock concert and he's thinking to try it.he'll go there with a girl and he hopes it wouldn't give him any problem
 
Does anyone here have some advice for using this TEK with fresh plant material. It sounded like everyone here was using powder, I only have my large fresh plant to work with. I just didnt want to create a mess using fresh material if it was going to be a problem.

Any advice is appreciated this, I can't wait to test this out.
