Okay, yes, I'm trolling the internet today. This is pretty funny. Better than the usual media hyperbole.

. HALFMOON -- A Halfmoon man allegedly broke into his neighbor's house to save the family dog from a fire, Thursday night. However, there was no fire. Troopers say he was on LSD and hallucinating.

Seems to far fetched IMO. The guy was just acting strange because he was high as a kite seems like there was no harm to him, the dog, any material possessions (or at least any significant), and to others.

Yeah, he's a hero in his own mind, but uhh... Property damage? They aren't even charging him with a drug charge.

My favorite part is that they say he wasn't charged with driving under the influence because he was driving on yards and through fences, not on the road. Remember that - if you're not on the road it doesn't count.
