Mapacho Shamanic Tobacco

It is very strong stuff, even when I was a daily cig smoker.

The only time I ever have had nicotine poisoning was smoking a fat handrolled cig of mapacho.

also, on a side note, it is good to rehumidify the log before smoking, this makes for a much nicer smoke.

I put a decent amount (rolled up still or unrolled) in a plastic bag along with a small piece of wet paper towel for a day before rolling it up.

I no longer smoke but will when I am brewing and druing a cerimony before I am in aya world. It seems to calm down the anxiety or maybe even the intensity during the initial part of the aya experience.

I bet a few apple slices would work very well too!

Yup, or a little lettuce...I know at least one vendor who sells logs/bundles of mapacho and they are actually the perfect diameter to store in the wideneck pint mason jars. With this type of storage, I've kept logs of mapacho fresh for well over a year with little to no need for rehydration.
