marbling through base at ph 14

my dogs using lextek and is at step 3 hes just Basifyed to 14 and instead of going properly black it seems to have black and dark brown marbling through its 30min after the Sodium Hydroxide went in and is still marbling anyone seen this before its possibly excessive plant fats and oil?


never happened to him before

Just add some more base, and you are good to go.

P.S.lextek works extremely well with tartaric acid instead of vinegar and 24h acid-cook each time
