Hello everyone,
This past weekend I had the chance to try, for the first time, MDMA powder. After postponing the experience for a week while waiting for the Marquis test (it turned to the expected color) and having had an amazing experience, I've got something to ask those of the nexus that also dabble with this particular substance.
MDMA isn't something I do very often; Previously, my 2 or 3 experiences have always been with pills. The first time in particular, I was struck by how electrified I became. The "all is well with the world" feeling was there, and I've never had something so striking from mdma since (apparently, this is to be expected - no problem).
But..
This time, on the powder (mixed with a minute quantity of carrot juice to help it go down) ?
There was no rush (previously, with the pills, it would go like: nothing happening.. SOMETHING happening (rush), then plateau while electrified)! Things were normal for a bit, then at some point I could tell something was changing, but it was so.. natural. A profound sense of inner peace and tranquility struck me. Each note played on the guitar sounded amazing, just right. Breathing became much calmer and deeper.
Then, gradually, just as quickly as it came, it vanished.. Without any nystagmus, or wide open eyes, and no speaking really really quick (all these have, to some degree, always been always present in my previous experiences).. there was some jaw tension, but nothing remotely close to what I'd experienced before.
The reason I'm writing this (and not on the experiences forum) is: Is this how pure/close to pure MDMA is supposed to feel? What I went through is so radically different from my previous MDMA/pill experience that I'm even questioning whether this powder was MDMA at all! (marquis tested it, and the result was positive, so it seems it's one of MDMA/MDE/MDA/MBDB)
To reiterate: The "all is well with the world" feeling was there, but without all the side effects, excluding minor jaw tension. And next day I was only slightly tired, not feeling like a truck went over me. Overall it was a much deeper, calmer experience.
Since the subjective effects were so radically different, altough the essential remained the same, I'm convinced that the pills I'd had before had something more than MDMA in it.
Either that or the effects are very dose dependant and something bigger would've caused the same side effects (I had 100mg this time; the other times, no idea, but presumably 120mg pills)
I don't think this is the "permanent tolerance" effect where MDMA gradually loses its magic, as the person who had some afterwards also reported no rush, same as me but even more profound (mdma virgin
)..but definitely no rush, and no nystagmus, no racing thoughts and just a bit of jaw tension like me.
So, how does it come up for you? Is it very gradual and natural, or is there a sudden rush..
Feedback appreciated!
