medication concerns

Hi i have a few concerns about the medications im on and was hoping for some advice. im on Celexa, lyrica, relefin, methadone and hydromorphone. Which of thease medications can affect aya, mescalin, mushies, kava and lsa? thank you for any and all advice and wisdom. Namaste

Im not a doctor nor can i give medical advice. Tho i do know mixing SSRI drugs such as Celexa with any of the above mentioned psychedelics could have disastrous effects such as serotonin syndrome or a host of other complications. I am not aware of the other medications but as a friend, i would advise you not to take any psychedelics at this stage! There is serious potential for cross drug interaction there.

That's quite a cocktail your taking. Personally I think
Dmt to be not a good idea with all your taking at the moment.

I understand there are people who need pharmaceutical drugs, I am someone who used to think I needed them to just go on day to day..

I dont think mixing drugs is a very good idea, especially pharms with things like dmt and aya.. You should be free of all of influences on your mind and body before trying to let go and learn from the drug..

In order to learn anything, you must give your undivided attention, and not have your body and mind already altered in small or large ways before embarking on a psychedelic journey.. In my experience I have learned that psychedelics and pharmaceuticals dont like eachother all that much.

The only interaction I am aware of is the combination of your SSRI (Celexa/Citalopram) and the MAOI in the Ayahuasa concoction. You can still take synthetic DMT as long as it is not combined with an MAOI (like in Changa/Pharma, and the like). BUT, you are taking a lot of other medications I have no knowledge of and it is quite possible there is an interaction with those and synthetic DMT. I recommend doing your own research on the matter. I have no knowledge of the other drugs in your OP. Good luck, and be safe.

thank you all for your input it is much appreciated from the research i have done the only med i take that i need to really need to be off of is the celexa, and i haven't found anything at all about lyrica which makes me hesatent to have it in my system eather. as for my pain meds i don't think they should have an effect on anything. all in all it looks like it's gonna be a bit before i venture into hyperspace.
