Hi everyone,

I'm from Victoria Australia. I have been searching net and searching topics on here but I can't seem to find what I'm after.

Can someone link me to we're I can find a list of plants in Victoria with photos that contain DMT.

I have looked at various lists but there are so many plant's it doesn't say if plants are in Victoria

Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the Nexus,

While I am not from Australia, you'll have to forgive my limited knowledge on this subject. I can, however, point you in the right direction:

Australian Plant Sources of DMT

It seems that Acacia acuminata is Native to certain parts of Australia and contains up to 1.2% DMT. This would probably be a good place to start your research! Don't forget to look into sustainable harvesting to protect the environment and these beautiful plants. Good luck and godspeed!

Firstly, you should take a look at all the Acacias that exist in Victoria. This information is not on the Nexus. Government and wildlife websites should have this information.

Then you check whether those species have DMT using this thread.

TGO, I've had very limited success with acuminata. Always ended up with goo, that isn't particularly active. Then again, this is a 50 g phyllode extract, so the yields are pretty poor in general.

Interesting, were they homegrown or a native species that was harvested (didn't you have a thread about it somewhere? or was that someone else...?so many threads, so little time, I lose track sometimes hehe!)? I got my information above from the WIKI as I have no personal experience in extracting from acuminata so it is nice to hear some feedback from someone with actual experience with this plant.

This was harvested from the wild. Mainly just pruned off low hanging phyllodes that weren't getting a lot of sun.

I should probably clarify, when I "tested" it, there were very slight visuals. There was not enough yield for a full dose. Ideally, I'd like to run a mass spec on it to see what other impurities are in it. But, from my very limited experience with it, acuminata phyllodes aren't promising. I'll test some more later, when I have time.
