Mimohuasca + Dream Herb question

[Strangeling]

Hi guys,
I have just received a nice batch of Calea Zacatechichi and I've been smoking it like grass, its really quite mellow. So I decided to read up on it and found that a lot of people use it with changa and as an additive to ayahuasca, but there was not much detail on how it affected their brews. So I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with using dream herb with their aya combinations and more specifically if anyone has done Calea + MHRB + Rue? If so did it significantly alter the brews effect and in what way?

I have used Kirkii with Jurema/harmala at the end. It helped things wind down and the kirkii-trance went well with the last stages of the trip, which is usually a calm, quiet, reflective state. The dreams were filled with magical undertones, but then ALL my kirkii dream are like that. Never tried it with calea, but I imagine it would give the experience a sleepy or at least calm character, which is actually great for visions.

Theres not much info on this ay? Well I guess its up to me to write a detailed report after my brew!

i love calea zacatechichi, ive been using it atleast biweekly for the last 3 years. however... it is so unpalletable that i MUST make it into a resin using ethanol pulls combined and evaporated to yield a black full spectrum tar. this tar i take 150-250 mg 10 minutes before bed for full effects, with it in this concentration (about 30x) i can easily ingest fully oneirogenic effects rather than suffering through nauseating bitter tea. smoking both the resin and leafs are not desirable imho even through water filtered pipes, however the resin does offer a nice mellow feeling off as little as one good toke.

the process i use is
151 rum soak in a hot bath for a few hours, let sit a full day
pour off and repeat with 151, pour off and repeat and add a little bit of citric/fumaric acid for the last pull

combine all ethanol pulls and filter finely, reduce to a near syrupy consistancy and filter again. let settle over night in fridge and decant.

evaporate decanted ethanol with minimal heat (food dehydrator with a pie pan fitted works wonders *about 100 ml per hour*)
scrape up tar and put into wide mouth jar (so when retrieving later its not too difficult)

i use a corkscrew to drill into the hard resin (it gets very hard over time) and collect it from the screw

either parachute the resin in paper/tissue or gelcap it, as long as it dosent touch your mouth (or you touch something youll eat after handling it) the flavor is a non issue

i use calea as an admixture to aya, pharma, changa, achuma, lsa, melatonin, harmalas, aswell as alone for profound visionary dreams. i find that it synergizes with achuma much like cannabis but dosent give paranoia. also i find that continued use is best to learn its effects, however since it decreases REM sleep and increases likeliness of mid sleep wakefulness its best to not use it continually past a week at a time. i take it a few nights a week and only if im ok with being a bit more tired the next day, however it often feels like youre more rested, when infact you arent.
