While things might have happened as described, I find it difficult to comprehend that mother finds dmt-laced damiana then forces her son to let her try it. It just doesn't sit right for a concerned mother to find son's random drug and insist on smoking it to know what son is doing...there are far more sensible ways to learn about the effects of drugs other than straight out trying them, especially since this could have been ANY random, potentially dangerous substance. I believe that there are holes to fill in this story.
Also, what do you mean a friend "send you"? By post? Does that mean sent to an address like your mother's house, where you did not get consent by her to receive illegal drugs? And is it how she "came across" it? I hope so not and I would like you to explain us further the "sent you" part because as it stands, it sounds very irresponsible.
Overall I feel that, despite the issues your mother has re your habits (but in the end of the day it's her home and that's her rules, i.e. move out if you do not agree), you yourself have been particularly cryptic towards her (and towards the forum as I see), further fueling her suspicions and erratic behavior.

Ops mother seems very troubled and seems to make irrational not well thought out decisions that are not based on knowledge, but on sudden ignorant reaction. Which happens to everyone, it just so happens that's all we've been told as far as her actions.

I'm kind of confused as to why your mother, after having the dmt experience, falsely assumed that's how the experience always is and why the hell you didn't elaborate on what had happened.
It also sounds to me that you don't have a very trusting relationship between each other, going both ways. You have basically two options...
1) let it go, present this never happened and hide your illegal and controversial drug use better.
2) patch things up with your mom and create an open trusting bond with her and explain things in a much more descriptive and informative manner. Which sounds to me that you need to brush up a little on your knowledge of the use of psychedelics.

Maybe it happened as described, maybe it didn't, but I have a hard time buying that if an anti-drug crusader found some random drugs, their first instinct would be to smoke it and see what happened.
If it did play out as you said, it was really bad of you to let your mother smoke the DMT. That is hardly an introductory psychedelic drug and can be terrible for experienced people who know what they're getting into. Giving it to someone who has biased against drugs to begin with and had no real understanding of psychedelic experience was tremendously irresponsible.

With the initial information provided, mummy was made out to be an anti DMT gay hating nazi. My mum has asked me whether i was gay when i was younger. Not because she was anti gay. Just because mothers like to know those things about their kids.
As the story unfolds and we find out that mum was unwittingly given DMT and maybe things become a little clearer. It"s the classic "my parent"s don"t understand" me story.

The little sack of laced herb fell out and she immediately started asking questions. I told her a fried that grew salvia sent it to me bc it was legal at the time and I was trying to save myself from trouble.
She insisted that I give her some and I argued that it's not good to try just out of curiosity and that I took it for spiritual reasons.
When she insisted further I warned her that she wasn't ready for the experience and that it could be terrifying but she practically yanked it out of my hands and put it in the gravity saying 'if your doing it I want to see what its about'.

BUT if any of you are at all interested me and my mom are on good terms now, though i'm still kicked out of the house (she was selling it in 2 months anyway to move in with her fiancé) but i'm living with a friend and about to get an apartment.
I ate lunch with her yesterday and basically just had a good talk. I didn't bring up DMT and she just kept telling me I needed to make the right decisions. She brought up the fact that our family is genetically predisposed to addiction and referenced me dads alcoholism and his brothers addiction to speed. I told her I knew I would never be an addict of any drug because I have something bigger than myself I am living for and I see addictive drugs as a waste of time and that they go against my spiritual path. she didn't take it too seriously and just said 'no one thinks theyre going to get addicted to drugs'...
All in all our relationship is intact and that's all that matters.

I am sorry that you are unable to have in depth conversations with her about your spiritual use of Psychedelics. My brother is a little more open minded but also has a slightly skewed view of drugs. Although we are able to talk about it he doesn't show any interest in trying it, which I respect and he would be the only family member I know that is over 18 currently that hasnt even tried any drugs (using the traditional use of the word drugs, excluding caffeine and alcohol).
Does she know that cannabis is also a psychedelic? From what you have told us I don't see any reason to push this on her anymore, which I am sure you feel that way. On another note, wow what a mess buddy. Glad you made it out unscathed.

on a sidenote i had this crazy dream yesterday , i was in my childhood home looking out of my window seeing really giant trees , for some reason this tree was covered in a very subtle hppd like pattern , it was evening and just past the sunset
