Search info on making a spore print. Remember cubensis is cubensis, you don't need other sub-varieties. Make at least 2-3 prints of what you have. Don't waste your money, it's possible.
You need sterilization not pasteurization. What you're attempting to do with a piece of mycelium will be hard, you will most likely get a contamination.

Works just fine! Called grain to grain transfer I think. One does it and though jars sometimes stall or contam, many make it and not far from schedule. Grab pieces of crushed mycelium (use a ziploclk bag) and place in jar. Place vermiculite on top. Make the jars a little less then full for the purpose of having space at the top.
