My GVG looks like a show piece!

ok.. I am sorry if i make this sound like an advertisement haha.. So I have a GVG and I was having the hardest problem getting that little bulge in the middle clean.. i tried everything but there was some waxy/sticky residue that i just couldn't get out! I tried alcohol+salt, i tried naphtha, boiling, soaking.. Nothing.. one day I found a bottle of generic looking cleaner in my bathroom my roommate must have bought called "Krud Kutter" .. I figured I might as well try it.. All I had to do was pour some into the GVG and shake it, and the thing looked like the day I bought it.. CRYSTAL clear.. wow..

We cleaned a bunch of other glassware with the stuff and it will make all your pieces look beautiful!

Is anyone else using this stuff?

I clean as much of as possible using IPA and leave it in a bowl to evap, the bits that don’t get cleaned with IPA I remove with vinegar/salt and finally I rinse with water.

Easiest way is just to pour some acetone through... Removes all residue.
