My Question

Migrated topic.
Life is the ultimate trip, not death. When I die my consciousness will cease and the trip will end.

BTW, why did you post this in the Introduction Essay forum? I moved it to the appropriate area: Open Discussion.

I fear pain, ignorance, and (whether I'd like to admit it or not) rejection. I do not fear death itself... But I do fear the emotional pain of others and the fact that all unfulfilled aspirations I set for myself, as well as the aspirations others have wished upon me would be for nothing. Although my personal fears of being unfulfilled would mean nothing to me after death, the impact of my death upon others would be a terrible thing, if only for the emotional aspect.

-Excerpt from my own journal, with some tweaks.

the only thing we have to fear, is being fearful of fearing fear itself. :d
(it is just because i am high, or did that sentence make the word fear very weird?)
