nap evaporation!

hey guys!! i did my first extraction a few days ago.(cybs hybrid salt tek) and im slowly finishing it up. i got lots of crystal collected in a shot glass but i CAN NOT get the last bit of nap. and it wont evap off. what do you guys like do do with the very last bit of nap in the shot glass? i tried evaping but its been out for 3 days and it hasnt done a thing. thanks guys much love

Erh, maybe im overseeing something, but how about just turning the glass upside down? Or are you only collecting it in the glass?

Other than that, unless it is trapped inside something, naphta should have evaped bye now, so it is probably something else. Sure it isn't leftover lye?

Try moving the solvent to a flat dish instead of the shot glass.


But yea, it should have evapped already...maybe you're seeing a thin film of yellow goo?

That'd be normal.

if i turn it upside down all thy crystals will come with it. this is after i removed the base layer and precip.i remove all nap but theres that little bit that the crystals still float around in and i dont wanna lose product.

Scrape it out onto a flat glass tray of some kind, and use a knife to chop it up and spread it out into a thin layer. It will become totally dry within 30 minutes - 5 hours.

Try putting it in front of a fan, and it'll be dry in no time. Sniff the glass and make sure you smell no naptha.
