Naptha/Shellite anyone know specifics? are they same thing?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can confirm If VM&P Naptha is exactly same/slightly diff/ completely diff, to Shellite the Australian equivalant. I thought someone might have researched this as it has been a point of discussion?
 
If undergrounder is correct, then this Tread must be highlighted.... SWIM has been looking for a replacemnet for Naphta everywhere in Australia..... Shellite is everywehre to be seen on shops, however Naphta, sales persons all over the country has never heard of it..... Thanks for the Info, SWIM has tried pulling spices with Xylene with no good results... but I am sure this should do the trick now....
 
Hey Dee, thanks for checking that out and posting. If you look closely at that pic it says 74% liquid hydrocarbons therefore i dont think it to be heptane. As mentioned above the product shellite is 100% liquid hydrocarbons so id say shellite would be a cleaner product to use. you can get shellite from bunnings hardware stores.

Recochem Shellite is very very clean, you'll find this in safeways, bunnings (especially), and Mobil service stations (and likely others). There is another brand you'll see at Thrifty Link hardware stores which is fine also
