Made this using the straight to base method with Chaliponga. Pulled with 70% rubbing alcohol (IPA) which was then "salted out" to defat and purify the solution as well as separating the water from the alcohol (IPA then became 99%).
Defated product was then evaped and tested (it worked fine, no breakthrough, nice OEVs and a feeling of being so high that your in space). That product which was oarngeish brown in color and waxy as well was then redissolved in IPA and water was added, then salt, and the solution was given time to separate. That layer of IPA was strained through a filter (Coffee filter) and then put in a shot glass over a open flame on low until it crystallized. Crystals appeared white at first but then turned a light greenish color. My IPA solutions were a green color after they were pulled and filtered (although it was in reality so yellow that it appeared green and then if it was left long enough the yellow intensified to a point where it looked red).
So what you think? That was a Sum up of my process. I think that the green is residual chlorophyll yet to be removed from solution.
