Hello all, I'm new to this space but not the medicine space. Various psychedelic substances have been assisting me on my evolution of consciousness for just over 5 years now. Recently, I've become interested in the process of extracting. I'm looking forward to reading about others experiences with the God molecule.

5 years is plenty of time to explore new ways of looking at life through the eyes of a psychonaut. What has been the most valuable and powerful lesson you've learned in that time? How has it changed your life?

When learning extraction please do not skimp on personal protection and remediation supplies. Things can be easy to clean up and second if you're aware, prepared, and know what to do but working with some of these materials can be dangerous immediately and in the long term.

So take some time to figure out what extraction path you'd like to take, research how to get your materials discretely and how to handle any spills or accidents that might come with them i.e. splashing lye on yourself -> rinse in vinegar and then a very soapy high G/LPM shower , spilling lye on the floor -> add cooking oil or vinegar to saponify the caustic liquid or neutralize it. Etc etc. litmus paper isn't a prerequisite to extraction but it really helps if you have to remediate a spill.

Also, take your time but most importantly have fun and learn. I've messed up a couple batches being impatient or distracted. I only mention the PPE and remediation education because I've made a mess before being lazy about my extractions
