Hi all.
I’ve recently joined though I’ve utilized the Nexus for a couple years now. I’m thankful to many of the members here for their valuable research and insight in chemistry and philosophy.
I’ve done about 5 or so extractions, each time slight tweaking the process. Each time getting a slightly different result.
The first extraction was nerve wracking. Though I read every extraction tek multiple times and memorized every step of the process before I got started, I was so nervous the entire time.
I went with a blend of Cyb’s A/B and Lextek. If anyone is interested I can go into specifics. I remember being so nervous the first time stirring the base soup that I fogged up my goggles.
One thing that I will mention is that due to the equipment I had, I had to stir the solution with a stainless steel metal spoon (no shaking in any step, everything was stirred).
My first extraction was perfect small fluffy white crystal clusters within more yellow craters of crystals. I separated the whitest crystals from the rest and still have a bit of it. Since then all extractions have varied slightly and the results have been similar and also totally different.
I’ve become really intrigued in the art of it all since then, reading and reflecting to get better and refine better. I enjoy the process and feel like it could be more common knowledge. DMT is not a drug (though I understand that there’s foundation to lay before the actual experience).
Next goals are to try a Zinc to recover oxide, activated carbon for color, slower freeze precipitation for better crystals, make an DMT vape, turn freebase into numerate, and to refine better and better.
I’d really like to get the perfect ultra pure DMT crystal.

I only discuss psychedelics with very specific 'real world' people so having a wider audience to interact with here is great and is definitely part of my integration.
