New Member here looking for pipe advice

Hi folks.

New DMT user here looking for some advice please. I have so far experimented with the Vapes and had some good results. However I haven't experienced a proper breakthrough. I played with various settings and found 3v on the vape was the sweet spot. Anything higher seemed to burn the DMT oil and not feel any different or a stronger hit.

So I am looking at smoking it now and have been advised to buy a 'strong glass dab rig bong'. I have looked on amazon and there are quite a few but a lot of the reviews say they are a bit flimsy and have broken. Its a bit of a minefield so I was wondering what people are using to some DMT and what can you recommend to use please? thanks

Depending on your budget and location, the other top contender besides vaping/emesh is the GVG (Glass Vapor Genie, aka Glass Sherlock by VaporGenie). It's basically a modified, torch lit, indirect heat glass pipe designed for dry herb and crystal vaporization. There are plenty of threads here with more detailed info and many report successful one-hit breakthroughs with a bit of practice.

Thanks for this. I did look at the Sherlock Vapor Genie but they are out of stock and only have the mini one. Not sure if that’s good enough for this? As already stated all the amazon dab rigs seem low quality so not really sure what to do. I’m UK based

The regular one or the mini? I actually have a mini that I don't use and I'm going to sell soon. It's only been used like 2 or 3 times.

I would stay cautious about smoking it. When you combust, the dose is not quite as accurate. Some burns away, and you don't get the full effects of the dose. I would find a vaporizer that's more efficient. I have a pulsar volt that's getting delivered tomorrow. I've heard wonderful things about this vaporizer. Apparently, one of the best for deemz. I also just ordered today another manual vaporizer that someone turned me onto... It uses a different type of technology than all the other ones I've seen... so I can't recommend it until I've tried it. Honeycomb Vapes. The honeycomb vape uses a little disk that you put over the top, very similar to the vapor genie. Apparently, it's very similar to a diamond as far as density and what it does. It's supposed to provide perfect vapor with a Torch. We'll see!

It's all about nailing that temperature!
