I found the movie to be a great concept and it made me re-think certain aspects of my life . And for me that made it a good movie . If you didn't connect with the film in the same way then that is unfortunate .Rooftop said:Well, if all a "brain working at 100% of it's capacities" makes you want to do is fuck tons of women in the toilets, make loads of money, and become a politician, i'll keep my barely functioning brain thank you. Don't lose a minute watching this, imho.
Some might say that the "news" of the cultural assumption that the immediate motivations of all people all the time is money and pussy is not "very interesting."State of the Mind said:...Would you have preferred him to be more productive, instead of making money and getting girls ? Or to have studied science and furthered the worlds knowledge of science or something along those lines ? Because if so, in my opinion, that would not have made an interesting movie...
SWIMfriend said:I once was on a forum where people were asked "if you could do anything, what would it be." Most people gave answers like "feed the hungry" and "make world peace." I stunned people with my response: "I would have ALL SENTIENT CREATURES everywhere in the universe know and understand EVERYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE KNOWN, from the past present and future." The idea is that knowledge and understanding alone can potentially solve ALL PROBLEMS at one swoop. Universal happiness (and all other positive things) would "have to" ensue from the condition of all sentient being becoming, essentially "Super Buddhas."

However I do not understand your post . Would you have preferred him to be more productive, instead of making money and getting girls ? Or to have studied science and furthered the worlds knowledge of science or something along those lines ? Because if so, in my opinion, that would not have made an interesting movie .
