New poster with questions. Seeking help.

Hello dmt nexus. I am a first time poster but have been reading for a long time. I am very happy with the friendliness and professionalism here. So now onto my problem. Over the past year I've tried a couple extractions from a Canary grass that grows wild in the area I live at. I used the poor man's tek both times and ended up coming up with a little bit of a white powdery substantial ce that was recommended to be washed with isopropyl alcohol. I did so and upon letting the isopropyl to fully evaporate I was left with a brown gummy sticky kind of surprised start ce. I had read around d that the material could e psychoactive and so I tried it with no reaction at all. This happened the two times I tried it with philaris and so I decided that I would wait until I was able to aquire some mhrb. Anyways I got my first batch of root bark a few days ago and ended usein an stb tec down to the nitty gritty.. Was labeled as 2nd 100g extract or something im sure you've all seen it. But anyways after my freeze precipitation and pouring iff the naptha I was left with the a white yellow powder when it fully dried. At first it was really dark. The powder was kind of waxy in feeling and i could see some minor crystals in the powder. It was slightly psychoactive upon trying to vaporize it but not nearly as powerful as I was hoping. I don't understand what I may have done wrong g if I followed a tek that was getting suck positive results. Any suggestions or advice upon my next try? Currently I am limited to teks that are simple and dont require a stove top for more than boiling water and I am greatly appreciative of any advice. Honestly I don't believe many people have luck with extracting from grass just yet....
I would try something else if I were you.

I forgot to mention one of the main points. I did an an acetone wash on the white yellow powder from the root bark extract and got the same kind of brown goopy tar that i had with the grass.

my advice would be to pick a tek from ^^^ that list (i like noman's) & stick to it, as opposed to following someone else's modification... at least until you get solid results from it, then you can start improvising to suit your needs... everybody has their own tips & tricks that they like, but starting with the basics as presented here, man, you really can't screw it up... & then, we'd have a little more info about what exactly you had done, so we could maybe help ya figure what you've done wrong...

as for the grass questions, Eliyahu's words ring true to these ears...

i discovered what my problem was. yesterday after getting home i was eager to fin out if my third pull was ready from the freeze precipitatiom and decided i would wait for the 24 hour mark to do it. At the 24 hour mark i pulled my glass plate out lifted off the plastic wrap and to my surprise there was a beauttiful dmt powder on the bottom with bumps all over. I poured off the naphtha and let dry fully before scraping. I estimate that there was about a gram worth of it there but it wasnt the crystaline structure that i hear so much about on the forums. instead it looked like kinda like snow but wasnt shiny or reflective of light. I loaded it into a tool i created and took three big tokes on it and my body became completely relaxed and i felt like laying down. I got some awesome visuals and even saw a couple things like a building that was spewing out dlames and a creature that was dull in color, had no eyes, no nose, and seemed to be drewling acid. I wasnt broken through. i could tell i was on the verge but still not broken through. anyways back to my resolved problem. I wasnt allowing long enough time in the freezer. I guess its kinda common for newbie extracters to be impatient. I have a whole pound left of brazzillian mhrb left to work with and plan on being as patient as possible. The next thing i would like to talk about it something kinda personal. Ever since ive read about dmt and even before i heard about it there was always this urge to learn asmuch as possible from the "other side". I spent many years practiceing meditation and trying to astral project and everything. There is this uncontrolabale urge to break through and im curious if that is a bad thing or not. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

From your earlier posts I believe the issue causing the sticky type product was a result of either:
A: After freeze precip you did not let the crystals dry thoroughly enough before scraping.
B: With mhrb especially, skip the wash you've been doing completely. If you want to further purify/clean up your crystals I'd recommend a simple recrystallization.

I have found that with freeze precipitating the majority if not all of the product has fallen out of the solution in about 3-4 hours time. I've seen the same amount of dimitri in my container every time whether I wait 4 hours, or 36 hours. Just keep on experimenting and you'll get it.
