Thought ya'll might enjoy some pictures Ive collected over the years. Im mostly working with cacti on the nexus so its rare that I stumbled into the mushroom forum, but I can't seem to stop taking photo's of these amazing fruits each and every year. Mostly P. Subaeruginosa but a few P. Makarore and a couple of P. Weraroa

Great pictures! Perhaps it is time for a hunt of my own...thank you for sharing!

Whoa awesome, sorry I'm late haha! Was just doing some googling and came across this post. These are all NZ photos? Nice finds, the third picture down in your original post is actually Psilocybe angulaspora, a Taiwanese Psilo only recently confirmed in NZ. AFAIK this is only the 4th documented specimen :D

I have never heard of those, granted I have not been hunting for mushrooms since I posted these pictures. Has there been DNA sequencing done on similar mushrooms? Only reason I ask is that for years we were being told that they were a sporeless variant of psilocybe makarorae. It was Inski at the shroomery that was telling us this and he knows whats hes talking about.

And yes all from New Zealand

the third and fourth pic down are also the same species as this image
