Ayahuasca fir 4 days sounds excellent.
I've used kratom and aya around the same time in the past. I don't remember how many days I waited between doses though - Kratom only lasts about five hours for me. I would want to allow at least 10 hours if it's just one dose of kratom - Maybe more time should be allowed if one were using kratom on-the-regular. Certainly I would want to be back fully to baseline before ceremony.

i always put at least 12 hours between the two, basically dont use both on the same day. ive used kratom the next afternoon after having used aya the night before with no issues. just dont use kratom that day and drink the same night and you should be fine, at least in my experience.

I use kratom as a daily medicine as well, and have mixed with harmala many times with no ill effects. I've taken it both before and after. I don't even notice much potentiation... but I would honestly say that, IME, there is no danger in this mixture. Of course, be as cautious as you can be. There isn't anything interesting in the mix in and of itself.
since thursday evening it all begins, i will take last wednesday eveing, i never noticed w/d when i am active. Maybe a little restless leg but thats it

I took a few grams of green malay after an aya session wore off, probably 4 hours after drinking, and within the hour had the worst headache and nausea ive ever experienced. spent the night with sky high blood pressure, vomiting, and experiencing life altering pain in my head. It was probably the worst physical pain ive ever felt. luckily if i laid still on my back it was bearable enough to eventually fall asleep. Felt fine after i woke up aside from a slight headache.

Hm, perhaps it is a function of tolerance then? Were you tolerant to the kratom at the time? Whenever I took this combination I always had a tolerance.
That's why it's always prudent to be cautious when it comes to combinations with aya/harmel/RIMA's...everyone is different.
For sure steer clear of this combo if you don't have bad pain that would otherwise detract from your experience - and if you do just be careful and start small. Like I said, there is no real benefit from taking these together. Maybe now would be a good time to interrupt the daily habit, venom? I've heard great things about ayahuasca and habit-busting... though I'm sure intention is everything there.

yes i am very tolerant to it,
i use it twice a day, to get passed social anxiety.
this morning i halved the dose of kratom i use, toninght the same.
Tomorrow 1 halve dose spread over day.
Wednesday try not to take any,
thursday evening i should be fine

if it would be too hard to sleep or anxiety, i still have some little phenazepam i can use,
this one shouldnt interfere with ayahuascua afaik...
When I was in Peru a few months ago working with ayahuasca I was also dealing with a bad shoulder injury and taking prescribed opiates for pain. Although a different molecule thank kratom but pretty similar I would advise enough days to feel no I'll with drawl effects. For me it was 3 days.
I drank a few times with opiates in my system and they grossly affected the effects. Since opiates are a plant medicine the dark and intimidating plant spirit was present each time and I got little out of the ayas experience . The opiate spirit was one of the scary beings i have ever seen on aya. I'll never forget its face.
The journey wouldn't kick off properly but instead lagged behind and I would drift in and out of the opium like dream state which was relaxing but the visions were very dark.

How'd it go, no ill effects?
Olympus, if you don't mind (and it's a bit late to ask so forgive me) but could you describe what the spirit looked like and did you glean anything like an intention out of it? Did it seem vampiric? Demonic? Could you have been seeing the wrathful face of the opium-spirit (who exacts one's debts to her with vengeful fury, the pain she hid from you plus interest!)? That has always been my inclination as far as putting a face on opium (and derivatves). What was the drug (again if you don't mind)?
Kratom is indeed his own spirit, masculine, fiery, talkative... he has his own thing going on but he certainly exacts what the user owes just as opium does.

no problem occured. I am alive hehe
i stopped +- 3 days before the ceremony and the first day of quitting i took a little benzo to stop the little withdrawal.
When i have time i will post a report about the ceremony.
