Managed to get some DMT hydrochloride manufactured from a chemical laboratory (some high grade stuff which they pack in dark colored vial and airtight-sealed in plastic pack, not some street junkies ziplocks), tried smoking about 30 mg each time, on ashes, then on lightbulb (commercial durable ones specially for made for vaping, not some home-made mercury crap). No effect WTH except giddiness, head buzz and drowsiness. The yellowish white stuff produces vapor but does not even melt in the lightbulb. When burnt it smelled like burnt plastic. First 2 tries smoke on top ashes, felt giddy and went to sleep. Now woke up tried in vape 2-3 times, nothing. 3-5th tries I held the vapor for 10-25secs 2-3 hits each, nothing except drowsiness, so as for I am typing now. No visual, or even weed-type of high.

How to convert HCL to freebase? I am waiting from the reply from the supplier too, I do not want to smoke the wrong shit or poison!

we don't really condone any form of buying or selling dmt, so in the future please refrain from talking about acquisition of dmt by other means than extraction or gifts. Additionally perhaps you can reconsider your wording since it is not really in line with our attitude to call anything dmt related "shit" in whatever context you might conjure up. There is an Attitude page you may or may not feel like reading, but generally browsing through the forum alone will help you see the kind of respect we bring forward to this substance and to each other.

That being said you can convert your dmt-salt to freebase the way fumarates and any other dmt-salts are converted:

And yeah, salt can't be smoked... You could have read that somewhere here... maybe do a little more research next time. And again, please don't refer to dmt as "shit" even if it's "high grade shit". This is not the kind of attitude we want.
 
in combination with MAOI (harmalas) you can consume it orally.

There might be a way to administer it rectally without MAOI but according to what I hear a higher dose is necessary, and I don't really know how well it works. never tried it. Frankly though I think you should take the time and go about this endeavor in a mindful manner. There is really no rush, or should not be when it comes to these things. The resources for some of the links I posted aren't really hard to get... sodium carbonate, water, IPA... should all be available easily. Do put in some effort to get what I believe is a truly valuable experience. Otherwise you are just wasting your time anyway.
 
OK, with sodium bicarbonate and DMT HCL, do you mind explain the steps to convert it to freebase?

I am new to this, I think I only have some household sodium bicarb powder right now.

Like I need to mix and boil in water and bicarb powder?

Seriously I can't find magnesium sulfate in my area, the tek using only Sodium Carbonate seems easiest, I wonder if it is sold in pharmacy stores. You should know not everyone in every country can have easy access to regeant chemicals.
 
I get sodium carbonate in a supermarket sold as washing soda.
If you can't get sodium carbonate but have an oven, you can make it by baking sodium bicarbonate. The final product will, if everything worked well be only about 60% of the weight of the original, and water and carbon dioxide will have evaporated. The reaction is the following:

2 NaHCO3 ->(heat)-> Na2CO3 + H2O + CO2

So there you have it, you too have easy access to this chemical...
 
This sounds pathetic but I can only find Sodium Bicarbonate at my local supermart. How long should I bake Bicarb? Cus my housemates will get suspicious of using the shared oven. Will microwave work?

BTW smoked that HCL in the morning, now I start to feel depersonalised and kind of wierd empty detached feelings.
 
Regarding anhydrous IPA, meaning containing no water, it is impossible to find at local area.

IPA is always 90+%, very rarely 100%, if there is no water base it will constantly evaporate.

Would there be any harm using 90+% IPA?

I exercise caution snorting this HCL, the DMT HCL actually removes the metal plating colour of my telescopic spoon! I have read cases where people discover a hole in their sinus or septum one morning after snorting for a long time.
 
Yes, definitely exercise caution... and patience.
Conversion of salt to FB is fairly simple - read through the wiki - the notes on changing bicarbonate to carbonate are there too.

One question to chlee; isn't dmt hydrochloride very very hygroscopic? It is supposed to turn into a goo if it gets in contact with air/moisture. For sure dmt HCl is a pain in the ass to handle and correctly dose because of its hydroscopicity and goo-nature.

So how does your dmt-hcl looks like? is it powder? can you provide pictures? IMO you may not even have dmt-hcl, irrespective of what your source might have told you. I am more likely to believe that if you bought it from a "chemical laboratory" as you claim, you just got got scammed off a RC vendor trying to sell you something that isn't what they claim.

I remember an older case where some people in this forum bought 5meo dmt HCl from a certain RC vendor just to find out that their product was inactive.

It is sticky when handled, and sticks to the spoon when touched, otherwise it is like powdery chunks consistency in the bottle. The color is about there.

I search all over for washing soda and I can't find it. ARGH.

In case you have no idea, he is very very very very desperate for a DMT trip, for 10 years of reading of psychedelic subjects, still not a solid experience. He has gone through a fair share of psychedelics and entheogens but not DMT yet.

Sometimes he really feels like giving up all the hype and search for deemster, because in Asia and he can't find it, at least the freebase form, even though he had forked out hundreds of dollars, and even been scammed.

I think you may have been scammed again. It’s very unlikely that you have DMT hydrochloride. Shulgin was unable to prepare the hydrochloride salt, and my guess is that if Shulgin can’t do it, then no one can.
