Noob question: Can I use my Iolite Vaporizer for dmt?

SWIM has used an Iolite once for DMT vaporization and it left a lot of oxidized residue. I bet it would work well for changa though...
 
i have some changa and i also have an iolite. i would love to use my iolite but only if it doesn't waste anything and still gives a full trip. i do not have much changa so i cant afford to waste any.

i would love to know how well an iolite works.
 
Use a bong instead. Vaporizers aren't ideal unless you are using something like a glass vapor genie. Everyone around here loves those. Everyone around here reports problems with vape gizmos. Bongs/pipes do the trick just hold those hits in ~20 seconds each! And if you need any moar ideas, check out the link below in my signature.
 
perhaps i will get a gvg one day, i read earlier about using a balloon, i might try this next time. i will now check out your sig, thanks
 
I trusted the guys on this forum and bought a GVG for my first ever DMT experience, and I was glad I did! Of course, I really have nothing to compare it to, so my opinion is probably useless. I did have a fantastic experience on my very first try though, so take it for what it's worth.
 
I have successfully blasted several times using an iolite, my main issue with it is that it continues to make that hissing sound throughout my trip which I find rather distracting. Usually end up stuffing it in between the couch cushions 😉

Please don't burn your place down while tripping. The iolite houses a very hot element and stuffing it between the couch cushions is a really bad idea.

Indeed! Can't say it was smart, just a last minute, feeble attempt to get rid of the noise while traversing into new landscapes :?. Really don't bother with the iolite anymore, though I have had success with it.
 
New to DMT and getting mats together etc for first pull. I notice that a lot of guys like vaps and I'm wondering if they're the same vaps somebody would use for weed etc.

Ive currently got a Iolite, would that work or would it be too hot / not give good results.
 
You should try doing a search as you would probably find LOTS about vaping......

However, the general concensus around here seems to be that the Vapor Genie (VG), or even more so, the Glass Vapor Genie (GVG) seems to be the most popular vap device on this site........
