A couple of days ago i was taking a walk through the woods. Just an ordinary walk, nothing special really. Thinking about random stuff like some equipment that needs replacing and such.
Then, when i arrived at an open place, i suddenly saw a cloudlike structure in the sky that seemed to be glowing. And i thought:"damn, that thing looks just like northern lights". Though it was just a singular tuft of fluorescent green. But then it slowly started to spread into a line and it more and more started to look like actual northern lights.
And at some point it became kinda clear to me that it absolutely was aurora borealis.
I'd never seen it this bright before.
I wanted to call some people to tell them to go outside right now because this really was a spectacle, but unfortunately i didn't have my phone with me.
So i must have stood there for a good twenty minutes before it gradually faded.
There's no moral to this story really, except maybe a reminder to spent more time outside. Because sometimes mother nature might just give you a little treat, and it's wonderfull when she does that.
