i scraped out those white patterns on the glass and got this: [img:438003abe1]http://img264.imageshack.us/img264/3745/dmtkh1.th.jpg[/img:438003abe1] no idea how much is there but i loaded it in a lightbulb vapo and tried to smoke it. i couldnt get the powder to start smoking, it'd fizzle a tiny bit and wisps of smoke would come out, but that was it. ok i finally got all my shellite down to a manageable size, put it in a 200mL glass and into the fridge. the shellite was hot, and about half an inch from the brim of the cup, i hope this isnt too full? i assume it;; shrink as it gets colder anyway. the baking pan i poured the shellite from did the same as the jar. got white patterns, i scraped it up and got white powder about the size of my thumb fingernail. i sandwhiched it in a cone with basil leaves, hit it about 6 times, and basically nothing?????? i felt quite relaxed, and got very slight visuals, possibly placebo though.. the powder is very fluffy? i can squish it with my fingers to make it compact together to arond 1/4 of it's original fluffy size. is it possible its so fluffy that size of my fingernail might weigh only around 10mg or something? geez, i just hope that white powder is dmt, and not something else :shock: anyway, i'll weigh the freeze precip results when they are done, and make sure im doing a 50mg dose next time. edit: decanted the shellite of the freeze precip and evapped the remaining stuff left. after it was dry and scraped im left with 700mg of very clean white spice. 100mg doesn't look like that much compared to what i smoked before, but ill try 50mg and see what happens. if nothing, im putting it down to me being on an SSRI (lexapro), i mean honestly it has to be spice right? what else could it be? are there any tests i can do on it that would reassure me? i spose ill have to go over to a mates house and get him to try 50mg. - ok i put 50mg in a cone with ash on the bottom, cudnt even get the spice to smoke??? it was a realllll sketchy homemade bong, with no water, but i held the flame close to the white spice and it wudnt melt, i tried to suck it through like a normal cone and small parts just turned black and that was iit so i try put another 50mg of it on foil and heat the foil, it starts to smoke and the spice turns brown, (is that what it should do??) one small part turns black and i try to inhale some of the vapors COUGH COUGH, oh fuk that is harsh, then the foil heats up and i cant hold it anymore so i put it on the table. how am i supposed to smoke this stuff? it[b:438003abe1] seemed[/b:438003abe1] to vaporise on the alfoil, but it didnt work for me in a cone :?

Nevermind. I finally found success!!! Very, very happy indeed. Loaded an eyeballed dose into a lightbulb, probably around 50mg, and used a LIGHTER!!! Haha, well it turned into a brown puddle of oil and fizzled, producing loads of smoke. Not expecting anything to happen, I was quite surprised and shocked and wasn't quite sire what to do, only managing one pitiful hit. This hit was enough so have my heartbeat in my head (very strange feeling), and some interesting, but subtle CEVs. Nowhere even close to a breathrough, but at least I know it works. The smoke was surprisingly easy to inhale aswell. It cooled down very quickly, and was very smooth on my lungs. Even easier than marijauana I found. Can't wait for a real taste of the great DMT!!! THANKS A SHITLOAD FOR ALL THE HELP FROM EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM. IT WOULD OF NEVER BEEN ACCOMPLISHED WITHOUT YOU GUYS. A special thanks to Coshi aswell, thankyou thankyou thankyou.

Lets say that someone did the recrystalization step of the Norman tek and crystals formed but, there wre black centers. What would this be? Also how long should the recrystalization step take once its in the freezer?

Black centers to the white crystals? that sounds bad, maybe SWIY didn't pull the naptha cleanly and got some of the basified gunk along with it? Freezer precip takes 24-72 hours depending on your level of patience. There are diminishing returns after a while but I've read the longer you keep it in the more spice falls out of the solvent.

SWIM had already freezed naptha and filtered it. Then it was cleaned with Ammonia. The color of the spice was always white until it was re-dissolved into the naptha at elevated temps to recrystalize. Once placed in the refridgertor, SWIM noticed that black specs were gathering at the center of the precipitates at the bottom of the shot glass. Now snow is beginning to gather on the sides of the shot glass as if it was being stuck in the freezer the first time around.

hello all, SWIM has made a trial with 50 g mhrb per 1.050 litres of water with 7 tblsp of naoh measured ph was 14 so let set aside after stirring for about 1 hour or so and than added 150 ml naphta circa, stir and set aside for about one hour.vortx/lazy man's tek so, he hopes to end with some product but the naphta seems still very clean so what can he do? just stir more?Has he done something wrong? Thanx you all for all the answers that you'll give, i love this place, keep it friendly and helpful as you do... cheers from the pizza mozzarella country =D

SWIM'S answering by itself to its questions.....try to freeze precipitate just to see if in the naptha was something...this morning it can see inside to the bottom patterns like snow particules...crystalline...like snowy dust... it hopes that it's spice...if there wil be some questions it'll ask you.... :D

Hey guys. This is my first post, but Ive been reading this forum for awhile. My brother's friend had a question about Noman's extraction. For step 9 it says to filter the solvent through a filter, and save it for later, or re-crystallization. He was wondering if he could just collect the solvent pulls, evap it down, then stick into the freezer. he knows this is mentioned in this post, but wasn't too sure where it fits into the steps. He thanks for your insight guys :D

So then where does evap the solvent till it becomes cloudy, the freeze it. Where does this come into play? should He do it with his left over solvent after filtering? So looking back what he should do is combine all the pulls, filter, then dry the filtered residue, remix in some of the solvent and freeze again?

You don't have to evap the solvent at all. Run it through a coffee filter, and set the filter aside to let the crystals dry. I would then take the used naptha and simply use it again for your next pull. I think what Noman was saying is, if you so choose, you can evap it and refine whats left via recrystallization. However, this is probably more trouble than it's worth unless you're doing a big batch.

Ok thanks for the help. He ended getting 0.27 grams from 100 grams of root bark, and another batch is in tonight. I'm sure there is a lot of room for improvement, but He is extremely happy with the first time results. Next he will clean them and prepare for a nice journey. He was astonished at the weight. It looked to be much more the 0.27, but I guess the spice is light.
