Old changa, still good?

Hoi. after a few years break I again feel the calling.

I have small airtight glas jar (Those small Jam jars they got at hotels) of changa that is at least 3 years old. Its been stored in a cardboard box at room temperature.

It still looks good, dry and still glitters. I guess some oxidation is to be expected

Still safe to vape?

I still have some changa that is 4 years old and still works its magic.

How much did you use and how long did it last for you?

To be honest I was scared as shit, been a few years.

I think my scale said 76mg, from what i recall its a 1:1:0.25 mix (Herb:spice:harmala).

I started with mini hits till i could feel the headspace, and then emptied the VG (wooden VG).

Took a few minutes and, it was just dipping my toes in. The familiar headspace, with minimal visuals. It was sort of like "coming home, but haven't been home in a while" feeling. Very loving, but that old guilt of feeling so at home was also there.

Didnt last very long. 10-15 min, with some lingering after effects.

The harmala/spice ratio felt higher than i remember.

I think it must have degraded a bit, and i probably wasted allot with my mini hits.

But def active. Next time ill fill it with 100mg and take a proper hit. That never got me trough before, but significant sub-breakthrough.

Most my change experiences was on the tail end of Ayahuasca sessions. And that was often very profound. Somehow it was so much easier when already a bit in that headspace to jump in.

I getting very tempted to do a full spectrum jungle spice extraction with Lime and D-Limeone to make a fresh and food safe changa batch. (This is a A/B naphta) But first a Aya retreat.

Yeah I'd wager on the mini hits being the reason behind what you'd experienced. Sometimes they can do the thing, but most often ime they won't take it too far. Glad to see you went after it though after all this time.

When you go for the gold next time, curious to hear on that when it's time.
