There are other, more environmental friendly, methods actually, it is true.Try searching the wiki for BLAB Tek as an example, or the forum search function " extracting dmt with ethanol and sodium carbonate".
But even so, you will still encounter the pressence of one or more inorganic compounds. Lime ( calcium hydroxide ) has the chemical formula CaOH and is inorganic, but as with NaOH, it is caustic, and these can be used in numerous applications including that of cosmetics, food and drinking water industry.
As far as solvent environmental safety goes, I guess it is fine to say that d-limo has a friendlier profile. Though regarding this matter imo, friendliesness twoards the environment solely relies on the end user of these chemicals, and how one chooses to work with such things when it comes to e.g handling, storage or disposal. Imo, all elements are natural, even naphtha which is part of the organic hydrocarbons family.
My opinion is that these compounds have a safe profile as long as anyone handling them respects and uses them with the neccessary care.
Look, as long as the herbs contained in that blend are pesticide free, grown without synthetic additives and picked from natural habitats ( which of course Brazil jungle can provide) I guess you could call it organic. But so could the rest of the people making such blends, though I havent until yet hear anyone pinpoint such terms when it comes to these things because maybe that's the way these things are already. Until there will be people waving their synthetic blends around here or elsewhere ( and that really is undesirable and defying every aspect of the purpose of using plant based medicine, pr entheogens if you like ) in my point of view, these things will remain organic. As for organic vs. inorganic classification,it is good to know that it appeared (first in the 8th century) mainly as a way to differentiate between the vegetal and animal reign substances ( organic ) vs. mineral reign substances (mid world inorganic/atomic).
Nothing un-natural really.
