I’m not sure if this will toe the sourcing line, as it’s legal and available from a dispensary where I’m from, and I will delete if deemed necessary.

My friend had got some “organic cannabis” which was more costly than the average Joe stuff. We had a laugh at this, as we thought after the fact, isn’t this just the good old fashioned stuff you would grow in your back yard with poop? This just means essentially it didn’t use miracle grow right? Or other chemical fertilizers? I’d say I’ve smoked organic weed most of my life then!

Organic afaik just means grown without pesticides

In my state the pesticides used are printed on the label of the cannabis product.

I suppose that, if the term "organic" is not a legally protected quality mark, it can mean anything.

If the growers are using the term "organic" without the proper accreditation there could be legal implications for them - if the stoners get around to notifying the relevant authorities.

But thanks for that info. I work at a cheese plant and there are certain processes we have to follow for non gmo and organic products.

Certified organic farms mean they haven’t used any chemicals in 10+ years and have had soils tested for that. When growing indoors in potted plants that should be easy enough to manage...........
