Also, there is a weird blue tint to the cake around the mushies...

is this normal ?

Imo (and I've never grown PE before, only seen growlogs) they don't look nearly as phallic as the majority of grows of seen...but then again, I don't recall ever seeing them on cakes. They certainly look like cubes...just not the Penis Envies I've seen.

The coloring of the cake looks weird, but having only done bulk sub and never cakes, I can only speculate from observation, not from experience. From what I understand, bluing on cakes is most likely due to lack of moisture. Increase rh and fae along with it and you should be good to go.

The one mush to the far right has broken from the stem, as well as the big chose(though you can't really tell from these pics)
 
I'd say so. Once the veil begins to separate from the cap (or just before) is the ideal time for harvesting, imo. Once the cap turns up, the mushroom starts putting its energy into sporulation rather than fruit growth/alkaloid production, iirc.

Great, thanks ! I'll have some fun picking these bad boys tonight :) did you see that fat chode-like mushy? I swear, I've never seen anything like that in my life, and it appeared out of no where 2 days ago! Very interesting..
