I'm really curious what's the longest ever someone as an active "new" member to become a "regular" member. I've joined the community in 2016, answered a bunch questions, and even wrote up a personal essay. It feels like a school entrance exam where some rich kids with connections got to attend the school just because.
Is the fastest way to become a regular member having another member vouching for him/her? It feels like a catch-22 when there are ideas/experiences I want to share but unfortunately "NEW" members are not allowed. I can understand the logic to keep the community under some sort of vetting process, but I do feel that at the same time it seems writing up a personal essay, answering tons questions and being somewhat active for a year isn't enough to show.
Not to flame or place blame, but I just feel stifled where many ideas and thoughts I'd like to share were still blocked while I have no idea how long it's going to keep like this. Any suggestions?

. It took me over 200 posts to become a full member. Some people post 2 times and get full membership because of a pretty picture or sucking up. It's not fair but nothing in life is. You got my upvote lol.
