I mentioned in the Pets and DMT thread that I used to have a Newfoundland, Shadow, one of the finest beings of any species I have ever known. Here's a few pics I just found. First a couple of puppy pics, about 6 weeks old:

At sixteen years old she is still relatively young. She had gotten into the habit of plucking her feathers a few years before I had met her when she was with her initial owner... but now that she is being properly cared for and loved she has stopped. I'm guessing that her diet was initially inadequate. They have very complicated dietary requirements!
