PH 8.0 Safe?

I done an extraction on Syrian rue, using something similer to the "easy caapi extraction guide.

I have a final product that I am now drying under a fan on a pyrex dish, My question is the PH is exactly 8.0, tested with papers and a electric pen.

Should I do another water wash with the final product? or is PH 8.0 ok and enough lye has been removed?
