pharmuasca food potentiation?

Migrated topic.

Rising Star
My last pharmuasca attempt which I wrote about in the experience category was a bit strange because it came on twice after eating a bit of food, 2 waves with obvious peaks. Both times I was convinced it was over and was just hungry and about to get back on with my day.For this reason it lasted over 4hours.
I'm curious is this something common and how have others dealt with this?
Is it necessary to stimulate the digestive system soon after drinking to make sure it all goes through together and is a bit more predictable?
Both peaks felt quite short but the second peak was really intense physically (maybe eating popcorn made with oil didn't help) and almost too much to bear.
I really want to build on this but realize it's not something to take lightly and could have physical dangers. Also I do'nt know if I could handle that experience too often, but the psychedelic/mental aspect is fine its the physical affect that scares me.

Many people here will agree that certain starchy foods can bring on waves of DMT peaks and awareness during pharmahuasca. I was convinced of this too. But then after a few trips without eating anything I realized that the oral DMT trip is a series of waves that wash over you, with or without food. For me, if I have a moment of clarity I know that it is the eye of the storm and soon a DMT cloud will hit me. Perhaps people eat during these clear moments and the peak that hits would have done so anyway.

For oral DMT, caapi is the key to long, wavelike euphoric and deep and friendly trips. I can almost see those pink-purple waves engulfing me...

Interesting, I'll have to refrain from eating next time and see if its the same, it was such a distinct pattern (so off and on) its hard to seperate the nibbling from the equation. Thanks for the input.

perhaps caapi is better then rue and worth trying instead

I recently discovered the power of caapi after a year of syrian rue extracts. The difference is unbelievable, to me it is as dramatic as the difference between psilocybin and oral DMT. Give it a shot and enjoy!

yes, eating does bring it back on..fatty foods expecially..cacti, muchrooms and ayahuasca all are like that for me..comes back when i eat something.
