I edited my post to remove the "newcomers" part because it could be interpreted as condescending when there is no reason for it.

I have been listening to phonk for a long time, over ten years, and everything in this thread is phonk. It has evolved and branched out tremendously. Phonk is extremely diverse at this point in time.

Interesting! I had only heard of this style of phonk and wasn't sure what the history was. I only started listening around 6 or 7 years ago, intermittently
