Does anyone have any experience with the EASY Harmaloid Freebase TEK?
Swim tried to follow those directions. Later he found some other information about making a freebase from Rue seeds. Swim went through the EASY Harmaloid Freebase TEK and did accidentally miss a couple steps.
He forgot to add the vinegar in the beginning, but I don't think this caused a real problem. He went through and did the salt precip and actually took the end resulting gook and did the salt precip a second time as well. He then dissolved it in hot water but forgot to run this through the filter again. Regardless, when he added the ammonia it almost instantly turned from a brown diarrhea color to a yellow baby poo color. After a few hours the yellowish crap did settle to the bottom leaving brown stuff on top and this was removed. All of this sounded and seemed to be working just like it says in the tek.
Apparently, the stuff is supposed to give a bit of glow under black light. From what I understand, I was under the impression that it should glow yellow under black light. Swim did not actually put this mix under the black light before getting rid of the liquid on top but it did look like something that would definitely give a glow under the black light.
Here is the odd peculiarity: After removing the liquid, Swim was left with a brown gook much like the silt mud on top of red clay dirt. This stuff is very brown. Now, the funny thing is, it does give a glow under the black light. But it is not glowing yellow like expected. It actually glows a very distinct red under black light.
Can someone tell me what this should look like? What does the Harmaloid freebase look like? And what color should it be under black light?
I will try to get pictures later, but if anyone has pictures of what it should look like I'd be very interested.
