A friend left some naptha soaking for 2 weeks for a last pull. When evapping, a friend noticed weird "loogie" looking yellowish blobs forming and growing in the solution. When more had evapped, these "loogies" changed drastically, and became weird gross looking brownish formation stuck to the bottom of the tray. Upon final evap, the entire tray was really gross and a friend says it looked like a nasty yellow film with the brown splotches. (definitely not lye contam, a friend says the solution started completely clear, albiet neon yellow)
A friend scraped everything together, and it started to look more normal, although it was still a tan waxish stuff with brown parts, which was then melted into hot naptha under the sink. The brown didn't melt, and was caught in a coffee filter. A friend smelled it, and it smelled like spice, although the smell isn't very strong. Several days passed, and a friend said it is still extremely sticky and looks wet.
