Who knows.. It's totally possible.. that's my answer.. I've seen Salvia demonized already, we all have, but think about it.. it's smokable in it's original form and produces experience some say rival DMT in psychoactive potency.. That makes it have a red flag.. If they got around to banning substances that mainly smart internet-obsessed psychonauts are using to extract, then I'd expect they'd end up going through a lot of other things that are still unbelievable available... poppy pods.. all cannabinoid smoking blends.. kratom.. I'd imagine ready-to-use and easy-to-use stuff goes first.. Kratom, at least, is gross tasting.. We're not as likely to get the same variety of idiot using Kratom as the ones picking up Salvia at their corner headshop and smoking it while they're skateboarding.. in a joint.. lol stupid kids..
All we can do is our best to educate these people.. but they'll always be around, ruining it for the rest of us.. Here's to hopin that phalaris could actually be a viable plant to extract.. it grows wild here.. I gotta search for anyone who actually tried an a/b extraction on it.. or the wheat grass juicer thing, or both combined to make it easier.. I remember researching it, a lot of people talking about gramine or something.. something bad about the phalaris.. Oh well.. Hmm..
If you see things that should never be in a head shop at the head shop, maybe you could talk to the people who run it.. tell them it's irresponsible and while lucrative, they're hurting the community of people who actually use these substances beneficially.. and probably ruining all possible future research on the various compounds in the plants that would be up for banning.. Also, can nothing be done to fight psychedelic bans with religious freedom? I mean, they'd accuse us of just saying that to try to get 'away with it', but exploring my mind and the pursuit of truth is my honest-to-god religion.. I don't see why we couldn't organize if it were banned.. tell them it's not right because we believe in the chemical the same way other churches do.. like that Santo Daime or however it's spelled.. or peyote use among native americans.. There's a legal precedent protecting it for THEM, but why shouldn't the same constitutional rights be allowed for it's own citizens?
I'm sure if that worked, there would be a thriving psychoactive-sacrament-using church.. it probably would have been around since.. I dunno.. the 60's? But seriously, no joking around, why can't religious freedom protect the citizens of the US if it can protect other culture's uses of substances like these.. Who cares if it's indigenous to the area's history and whatnot.. If that's the prerequisite for something to be 'allowed to be a church' then we truly have no religious freedom.. that's a ridiculous requirement for freedom of religion.. that the religion has to be old to be one.. How can any new ideas start? How can any new movements ever get off the ground? Maybe that's the way to go. I know I'd sure as hell join an organization that fights to protect my rights to practice my own blend of spirituality.. Many others would as well.. To be taken seriously, it'd need some screening to keep people just doing it so they can get loaded out.. and that is a hard thing to do, I'm sure..
I've been having crazy pipe dreams.. don't laugh.. and please don't tell the mental hospital staff..
but I wake up in the land full of mushrooms.. fireballs of doom, piranha flowers in full bloom
It don't stop there, it sounds insane, but there's a princess in peril that calls out my name
"MARIO!", I don't know how she knows me though, but she's fine as hell and has an ass like 'whoa'
I was having pipe dreams.. remembered a rap song by "Mad Hatter" about the Mario games.. Pretty funny.. Not related.
