Migrated topic.
A Lophophora williamsii var. spiralis, it appears to be becoming rather elliptical in shape, and is developing a double growing point - becoming mostruosa??

Awesome looking cacti people! Keep up the good work :d

I just repotted my 3-headed Peruvianus that I grew from seed from Koehres Kakteen. I've grown quite attached to it

1st picture from left to right: Pachanoi, Brisgesii and Peruvianus. All 1 year and 4.5 months old, seedgrown.

2nd picture is my nearly 8 year old San Pedro stump with 3 different types of seedlings grated onto it.

3rd picture left is a grafted Bridgesii and right is a grafted Peruvianus (same age as the repotted seedlings).

Snow rolled in. Most plants are inside, but the escobaria and some of the echinocereus stay out.

I love your crested and monstrose seedlings! They're looking really good.
What species are they? Crossed with SS01?

There are several hybrids involved. TPM = T. peruvianus monstrose TPQC = T. pachanoi quasi crest TPC = T. peruvianus crest

TPM x SS02, TPM x N1, TPQC x TPM, TPC x Juul's giant, and a few others.

I hope the cacti survive their chilling.
Escobarias are among the most cold tolerant cacti outside of the Opuntia family. Northern varieties of E. vivipara is hardy to -32°C!

I'm keeping Echinocereus mojavensis, E. polyacanthus, Gymnocalicium gibbosum var. nigrum, and Escobaria vivipara out in zone 7a. I just brought in Chamacereus sylvestrii and some Trichocereus I'm breeding for cold tolerance after letting them freeze solid at -10°C for two nights. Theyre fine :) I may have to freeze the Trichs again, I expected a couple to die!

Theres quite a few species that can handle snow [1]
Push the limits and find new ones 😉

Check out this list of cold hardy cacti. It was made by a cactus grower that I often visit his nursery. We live in zone 6b. Cold, snowy, dry (humidity) winters.

Nevermind. Wont let me upload xlsx files

For some reason I gets no nexus emails about threads im subscribed to anymore, so I haven't seent this thread in awhile lol All of your mutants you have hostilis make me so jealous, and that one yellow globular graft looks stunning what ever it is. Id be extremely interested in that list of cold hardy cacti so I could get some lifetime outsiders going 😁

I've been installing a drought resistant garden as well as increasing my magic cacti armada.
I don't have a problem, just a growing passion.

I'll start with two pachanois, followed by two bridgesii
