Psychedelic Aphrodisiacs

Yohimbe

This is said to be an aphrodisiac, and it's also a very mild psychedelic in high doses.

I've been recently using Yohimbe for it's alleged fat burning and appetite suppressing effects. Yohimbe contains yohimbine, which is an FDA approved aphrodisiac. I've never experienced its aphrodisiac effects and actually find it to be a little of an erection killer.

Yohimbe give me a lot of stamina. It's like you have endless energy and that is a plus for extended 4 hour or more love making. I think that's why it's believed to help burn fat.

It's definitely an appetite suppressant. It's working great for that purpose.

I've noticed after taking it three days in a row that the psychedelic effects seem to be getting stronger. I'm noticing slight visual alterations at a dose that doesn't normally cause that. Has anyone else noticed that or is that just me?


Mescaline

For SWIM, a dose of 50-100 mg is very much an aphrodisiac. But not in a physical sense. It's more of an emotional aphrodisiac. SWIM finds that he can easily engage in sex for 4 hour or more on about 85 mg of mescaline HCl. His love making is quite enhanced by mescaline and his wife also notices it. SWIM always drink coffee with it and that seems to help give that extra something to the experience.

As with LSA, SWIM has found larger doses to make sex very difficult which is the opposite of bufotenine.


Bufotenine

Ok, I think SWIM maybe is alone on this one. About 30 mg of freebase bufotenine smoked and about 15 minutes afterwards, he gets serious physical aphrodisiac effects. He's of course seeing stuff floating around the room and all, but can really impress his wife from this. SWIM has not tried Viagra, but from what he's read, bufotenine seems to be doing the same thing. Now this only happens are really high doses of bufotenine. You need a near breakthrough dose for the aphrodisiac effects to kick in. It's starts at about 15 minutes with a strong tingling sensation in the crotch. That leads to extremely easy erections that are quite incredible. Again, I think SWIM is alone on this one. Anyone else experience this?


LSA

With LSA, very small doses are somewhat aphrodisiac in nature, but moderate doses are quite the opposite and have made it impossible for SWIM to have an erection.


Damiana

Am I stretching the meaning of psychedelic with this one? For me a strong cup of Damiana tea is slightly psychedelic and imparts a very peaceful relaxed state of mind. I get very mild visual effects from it. I've found that combining Damiana with Yohimbe seems to increase the psychedelic effects of both. Damiana cancels out the stimulane effects of Yohimbe. SWIM has not noticed the alleged aphrodisiac effects from this one either. Has anyone else?
 
Here's one I forget to list.

Datura stramonium

This is said to cause sexual dreams and increased sexual behavior. As this is a dangerous herb, I think few people would toy around with it for its alleged aphrodisiac effects.

SWIM has not noticed any aphrodisiac effects from this plant. SWIM uses the seeds (1-3 usually, and never any more than 10). He has noticed it's ability to increase lucid dreaming if taken before bed. But he never has any more sexual content in his dreams.

Maybe the sexual effects kick it at higher, more dangerous dosage levels? The main alkaloid in the seed of Datura stramonium is hyoscyamine. When looking at the effect of hyoscyamine, I haven't run across any alleged aphrodisiac effects for it. So I'm skeptical of this one.

Has anyone experienced the alleged aphrodisiac effects from Datura stramonium?
 
If anyone else has experienced aphrodisiac effects from any other psychedelic herb please add it to this thread!

Note that I'm being very loose with the term "psychedelic" here and including some things that wouldn't really classify as truly "psychedelic" like Damiana and Datura stramonium.

I've been drinking crushed damiana tea, and sometimes mixed with passion flower, the past 2 weeks for attempting to help with anxiety/depression. I haven't noticed any effects, sexual included, and it's supposed to take a couple weeks to start working well (as an adaptogen). I only use about a couple teaspoons of each per day though; how much damiana do you use for a strong cup?

Although I've yet to experience sexual side effects from it, apparently it's one of its main uses:

Swim likes mj a lot for aphrodesiac effects(although too sedating sometimes) can make him go longer although not as much as your 4 hour session with mescaline though.Haven't noticed much of anything from damiana maybe placebo relaxation how big of a dose do you take and how tea,or smoke? Would a salvia quid work I know some say quids are more shroom like and some rave about sex on shrooms,but I've never quidded yet.
 
I use 8 teaspoons of Damiana leaf. The effects are very noticeable for me. Not at all placebo. It's mildly trippy, and relaxing, sort of marijuana like, but not exactly. Things look more colorful after drinking the tea. It's relaxing without having sedative effects. I've noticed no aphrodisiac effect at from it, but others claim to have.

I use 8 teaspoons per cup.

I should say that I normally have sex for about 4 hours without the aid of anything. I should have made that clear above.

Certain things like Yohimbe will keep me from getting as tired so I can really push myself to the limit during the 4 hours.

SWIM has not had salvia in a long time. When he did, he was single, so he can't comment on that. SWIM noticed feeling more sexual from shrooms many times, that's for sure. He's not had any physical aphrodisiac effects from shrooms though. FYI: Don't combine Yohimbe with shrooms!!!! It's awful!!!!
 
if I can find my damiana right now I'll try again i didn't use that much maybe that's why I thought it was somewhat placebo relaxation,or maybe you got it fresh off the plant if it grows native.? I know some say khat is a real good aphrodesiac, makes you very horny, but you might not be able to get up. That's weird I think you said yohimbe combines well with LSA seeds thanks for the warning though.

that sounds like a really good combo w/o the sedation might be exactly what I was looking for can you make your own extract out of powder,or do you use a vendor?

I didn't know about crushing it. I just steep it in hot water. I used dried herb. 8 teaspoons are not that strong, maybe I need to crush it. It works for sure though. But it's strong tasting. 8 teaspoons are a lot for 1 cup of hot water.

What’s the maximum safe dose for Daminia?

Yeah, Yohimbe goes very well with LSA. It’s like God made them for each other. But for SWIM Yohimbe and shrooms is a really bad paranoia type of experience full of tons of anxiety. It’s a terrible experience, absolutely terrible.

I’ve never had khat before.

Yeah, I’m curious about this too. Can you smoke Yohimbe bark? Is it active smoked that way as is? Or do you need to process it somehow? And what exactly does it feel like when smoked?
 
I've only smoked an extract... a powder one and a liquid alcohol tincture of yohimbe.

You feel really high, sorta hyper and really horny!
 
have you guys ever found lower doses of salvia to work too? SWIM gets an erection from smoked salvia..and salvia tincture...his plants arent big enough to try fresh leaves
 
SWIM only tried bufotenine at small doses yet, but he can definitivly find in it an aphrodisiac effect. Difficult to explain however. Maybe because of a small "mechanical" help (vasodilatation), euphoria and enhanced sexual feelings. Still something to explore further 😉

Salvia is very efficient at vasodilatation. Not really aphrodisiac but it makes the sexual experience something different (and it does not prevent erection like DMT can do for SWIM). Orgasm is strong and potentially fast like if the arousing state is reached faster.

Mj is probably the best 'natural' enhancer at reasonable doses (enhance emotions, feelings, sensations)

DMT 'could' be awesome but SWIM find it quite hard to get a correct erection while under its influence, so maybe for women only ?

I know it's devil and not a psychedelic but.. GHB ! :twisted:

My wife and I haven't tried a really low dose of mescaline, but I know that a mid-high dose of mescaline leaves us both numb from the waist down.

Low doses of any tryptamine have always worked well to ENHANCE sex, but I don't know that we've found any of them to increase desire (as a true aphrodesiac would).

Damania has never affected me quite like that. My wife and I both tried drinking that as a tea for a few days but didn't notice any difference.
