oly mon - I just can't get over this piece. Every time I see it I feel connected to it at a level that I almost feel it should be "mine". That's not meant to sound arrogant, jealous, or greedy... It's just one of those things that integrates seamlessly with my consciousness / subconscious. It speaks to me in some way...

Here's something I'm having done on my back. You probably know it already but it's a piece of Alex Grey's called "oversoul".
I'm in the unfortunate situation that the guy doing the tattoo has stopped returning my calls and is ignoring all of my attempts to contact him even though I already paid him an agreed upon amount of money for the whole piece. I'm currently looking for an artist who is willing and competent to take on the challenge.....but no luck so far!
Anyways...here it is :p

I like the frequency of the 'Aya Eyes' that I see in psychedelic artwork and ink. I have seen them layered over other visuals on every Aya journey I have been on

Hi and thanks:) It's really frustrating! He doesn't have a real studio....it's actually a shed in his backyard. I've been thinking about paying him a visit to confront him. But to what end? On one hand he shouldn't be allowed to get away with it and he should finish my tattoo. On the other hand this has turned into such a tainted situation. I get such a bad vibe when thinking about it and I really wouldn't want him near my back with a needle again!Bad bad karma:wink:
 
Yeah man. I completely get what your saying. It's just nuts that this dude would leave a piece of everlasting art on someone without finishing it. Have you thought about going to a nearby studio to get it finished by someone else? Its way too cool to just leave unfinished.

yeah...F that dude. i have to get positive vibes from you in order to allow you to paint my temple. i'm sure someone can finish that up for you. there is (and should be) a connection between you and your artist. if he's in a bad spot...you shouldn't open yourself up to that. he's literally tearing into your body. who knows what kinda vibes he's putting off.

so....i flew up to the pacific northwest and had olympus mon finish my crown chakra.

what took place up there is nothing short of wondrous. firstly (and most importantly) olympus mon is the best tattoo artist i have ever seen, met, known, had the HONOR of having work from. secondly, my first night staying with him, we went and saw an amazing alex grey art show/music performance that was STUPENDOUS. olympus mon is my brother. not figuratively, not hippie-dippy....we are twin souls and meeting up with him was meeting up with a part of myself i have been separated from for 40 years. we are so alike it was funny, then ridiculous, then annoying, then revelatory. i genuinely love this man.

as an added bonus, i also got to meet the INCOMPARABLE idtraveler who happens to be oly's best bro. what a beyond-special soul. the kind of person you want with you when you are doing pretty much anything. a friend on the deepest, most righteous level. truly high-vibration brother...AND...he races sport bikes!! :shock:

i am utterly bursting with gratitude for these two brothers in my life....and they will forever be in my life. next stop- BURNING MAN!! :D

and not only are these two brothers amazing...but their partners are stupendous women as well. hearts of true gold..beautiful inside and out. what a gift to meet righteous members of your spirit tribe. makes you feel like you're doing it right, ya know?

..i won't even get involved in trying to express my feelings towards the dog...i don't have the finger strength.. ;)

AND NOW...WITHOUT FURTHER ADO....I GIVE YOU THE FINAL, FINISHED AND ETERNALLY ACTIVATED...
