Pulling with heptane

Is it ok to pull with heptane or should one only use that for recrystallization or freeze precip.

You can, but it won't pull as much as naphtha.

Unless you can buy heptane way cheaper than napthta I'd stick to naphtha, but if heptanes all you have and you really have to pull something right now then heptane won't disagree

Well I can just easily get heptane for cheap. So I'll just heat things up quite well before pulling
I've actually used it once for extracting and I got the purest DMT I've seen but I didn't heat stuff up very much so probably a lot was left in the bark.

yep - and naptha doesnt pull very much compared to xylene, tolulene and dlimonene.
both naptha and heptane are good for re-x, not so good for pulling.
