For my first extraction tek i used Vovins tek (found here). I choose to freeze precipitate and yielded about 1% pure white crystals and roughly the same of yellowly crystals from letting the naphtha evaporate.
Prior to using my (Escort brand) naphtha I did an evap test and there was no milky residue, only streaks on the bottom of the glass container that could have possibly been there before. I never tested my lye (as im not sure how one would go about it) but the msds for both the naphtha and lye said they 100% active ingredient.
I havent tasted my newly extracted spice but 10 times,. And from my other post you'll see that my ability to get larger doses into me effectively has only recently been perfected but I've noticed that when i do I seem to cough for the rest of the day. I'm not phlegmy or congested i just seem to do a lot of coughing. At first I thought it was because i was burning it in the oil burner but since i used enhanced leaf it has still occured with larger doses (50 mg) but not with smaller (25 mg) doses.
Any thoughts? Could it be something is left in my final product, how im administering it, simply the fact that its just something new to my lungs or something im overlooking entirely?
PS - yeah I've only ever tried the white fluffy stuff i plan on re-x-ing the yellow ones at a later point
