purity?

Currently isis has to rely on a trusted friends and has not been able to extract her own. Are there ways to visually tell a level of purity? can smell have something to do with purity and taste? What i just vaped had a nearly non existent taste in comparison to other dmt sessions. Is this good or bad?

The incredible variety of DMT extraction routes, skills/knowledge of person extracting, and purity of chemicals will likewise be reflected in the varied purity of between different batches of DMT. That is one of the reasons why buying DMT or getting it from an unknown untrustable person is very dangerous! One could be smoking toxic solvent left overs or other impurities from chemicals used. We strongly advice that if one is going to ingest/smoke DMT, that they should only do it with DMT they extracted themselves and took special care with purity (for example using guaranteed pure chemicals, doing a solvent evaporating test, making sure the product has been thoroughly dried, etc) or of a known person that did the same.

Please check all the links and your welcome pm, specially the attitudes page. Do not buy dmt! If its a friend, they will give to you, not sell, and if its not a friend you shouldnt be buying from (and specially not talking about it here)

I apologize. I see clearly that this site does not condone the selling of DMT and I understand why. This was a classic case of typing before thinking.I have learned to think before i speak but still learning with the typing. I have edited my original post as well.

The safest proceedure to clean up dmt from an unknown source (which one should avoid smoking for the reasons above ) is to:
Redissolve in vinegar, defat a couple of times with warm solvent, re-basify, re-extract with solvent, do a sodium carb wash, freeze precipitate and recrystallize, then re-dissolve in ethanol or pure acetone/ipa and re-evap to remove solvent traces

This would make sure to get most impurities out. If all of that is too much (though it should never be too much considering its your health we're talking about), at the very very very least, do at least 2 or 3 recrystallizations.
