Question about Freeze precipitation

Hello all! This is swims first time posting on the nexus. First of all he would like to thank everyone here at the nexus for giving him the knowledge and the courage to attempt to do this!

At this moment swim has four collection jars in the freezer for about 12 hours now, he can see many snowglobes stuck to the bottom of the jars. His questions are

1. When he pours the naptha off, should he pour them into a new jar or glass dish with a coffee filter to see what it catches in the filter?

2. After the jars have been poured, should he then take the 4 jars, turn them upside down and put them on a glass dish with the tops off and back in the freezer? Will this be the way to dry them?

3. Swim is thinking he should pour the naptha from the 4 jars onto a glass dish, then let that evap? Is there a better way to handle this naptha?

4. Basically any tips or tricks for this final pouring, drying stage would be greatly appreciated.. Also should he wait an additional 12 hours before he does this part?

In future, combine all your pulls into one jar/flat pyrex dish and evaporate the volume by half until its nice and saturated. This way you're only having to deal with a single dish at the end rather than the four you have now.

I typically pour off all the naphtha as quickly as possible into another glass. Then I'll put a piece of paper towel on top of the dish/jar and fasten the lid back on (sandwich the paper in there. Then place back in the freezer for about 15 minutes upside down so all the left over naphtha drains into the paper.

Once I'm satisfied there isn't any 'liquid' naphtha, I'll place it in front of a fan on high for a good half an hour or more, then finally let it sit overnight or keep fanning it until you can't smell naphtha.

Don't put the jars back in the freezer with the tops off, you'll introduce water/condensation into your jars which will likely melt the DMT crystals as it hits room temp.

Dont waste naptha like that man it still has some goo if you dry it. If you just pour the naptha (slowly) into another jar almost all the crystals stick to the jar then you can dry the crystals and the jar to get goo and crystals.

I don't understand. Q21 says he sticks his naphtha in the fridge without any air tight wrap or top for the freeze-precipitation. But you're saying that if you do this, the DMT crystals will melt?

I've heard the DMT crystals will melt back at room temp, and I'm very confused with this. I've seen crystals at room temp, stable. How do the crystals melt back??

also placing uncapped bottles with solvente into your freeze will leave a solvent trace over your food and drinks.

some old teks give advices that had been corrected on newer teks so this may be the case.

Thanks, I was just really confused about the "melting DMT" syndrome.

I've read a couple teks now, and none have warned DMT crystals could revert back at room temperature. But I've read people complain about it. Good to know.

In Cyb's tek, he mentions this very quickly at the end, where he says speed is critical in pouring off the naphtha from the freezer and then immediately fan drying it before the crystals re-dissolve from room temp naphtha.

Do you just place the dish on top of a towel or rag? Or do you position some kind of setup to collect runoff of DMT-infused naphtha?

Hello again! Swim has managed to scrape most of the xstals out of the jars. There are still some in there that he cant scrape out due to the shape of the jar, he is wondering if he can add a tad of fresh naptha into each jar to melt them and then pour them onto a flat dish and let them air evap. Will this evap into goo or not since theres only dry xstals in the jars?

You can do that. They shouldn't turn into goo since they are crystals to begin with.
