Question about harvesting the spice using lazy man's tek

Hi all, wanted to see if anyone could help me out...

I'm using the lazy man's tek on MHRB and want to know if anyone can give me a good reason why I should freeze the naphtha pulled from the MHRB? I really want to just put it in a glass pan and let it evaporate like the tek says, but i know a lot of people put the naphtha in a small jar and freeze it. is this just for aesthetics, or is there a legitimate cause for waiting the extra time for freezing it?

There are legitimate reasons for the freeze precipitation. Cleaner spice is one good result and it is relatively quick. When I simply evaporated the naptha I got less crystals and more goo. When I froze the naptha I got beautiful cystals.
