So long time lurker and gleaner of knowledge from the Nexus here. Just made an account to hopefully clear something up for me...Anyway I was just recently introduced to the salting step. My question is can I add salt to my solution after it has been basified or am I only suppose to add it to the mixture before I basify it? Any insight is greatly appreciated, thanks!

You can add it at after the base...it makes no difference...as long as the solution is Saline along with the base it's fine. 😉

Welcome to the Nex

salting is done with a acidic solution

its mixed into the non polar solvent, to convert freebase to a more water soluble salt base

the salt solution is then separated & dehydrated to render anhydrous salt based alkaloids

NNdmt can be smoked in acetic form, as the heat of a lighter is hot enough to break the weak acid bond and freebase the cherished molecule

Different type of 'Salting'

Confusing I know but the clue is in the OP question. (referring to Hybrid ATB Salt Tek)

My question is can I add salt to my solution after it has been basified

Not really true...that is why we freebase.
