SWIM :)O)has been reading and researching DMT for quite some time now and he has come up with a list of needed products with sources to buy from and he has formulated a step by step guide. He wants someone or many experienced people to review it and see if it is safe to continue.

INGREDIENT
150 grams mimosa hostilis
8 table spoons sodium hydroxide
8 litres of Naphtha
Distilled Water
5 litres stainless steel pot (NOT non-stick teflon)
4 flat glass baking dishes
glass bowl
BIG spoon
Electric Blender

EYE and SKIN protection! Small white mask - Goggles - Rubber gloves

1) Blend mimosa into fine dust (Shaking might be necessary) - Use
plastic wrap over top + ruber band to keep dust in

2) Upon becoming a fine powder, place in 5 litre pot

3) Put 1250ml of distilled water into glass bowl

4) CAREFULLY (Apply protection) - Add Sodium Hydroxide (8 table spoons) to water - Stir
and Dissolve

5) Slowly add water+sodium mixture into the mimosa while stirring until
black goop forms (Entire contents of pot will be black)

6) Add 2 litres of Naphtha stir for 40 minutes

7) COVER and WAIT 15-20minutes for Naphtha to rise to top

8 ) Pour top CLEAR layer into glass bowl - DON'T GET BLACK GOOP IN BOWL

9) POUR from glass bowl into baking dish #1 - Use fan on low to help
evaporate Naphtha

**If brown substance is seen in baking dish it is OK** **AVOID BLACK GOOP IN BAKING DISH**

9 notes) As Naphtha evaporates, DMT crystals will form at bottom of baking
dish

10) Use RAZOR BLADE or sharp knife to scrape off DMT crystals

**For remaining 3 baking dishes repeat from step #6 for re-extraction**
**WHEN TO RE-EXTRACT:
2nd extraction:
4 hours after 1st extraction

3rd extraction:
1 hour after 2nd extraction

**AFTER 3rd extraction**
Dissolve 2 table spoons sodium hydroxide into water and add to black
goop
************

4th extraction:
Between 8 and 24 hours after 3rd
**


This is meant to extract 3-4 times. SWIM would LOVE it if someone could tell him how to do it for just 1 batch/extraction to make things smaller for his first time.

He would also like it if someone knew where to buy lye/sodium hydroxide.

Ok. So I took the advice and checked out the wiki and found the tek that he wants to do.

Lazyman's tek - DMT-Nexus Wiki Seems perfect.

The only problem is, won't ordering 1LB of MHRB online to be delivered raise some red flags? I know it is legal as the bark, but ordering that quantity seems really fishy.


Also, it seems the only way to aquire NaOH is to order online. Should he wait a month after ordering the MHRB so he doesn't get himself screwed when he's seen with a lot of lye and a pound of MHRB?

Guess what, Steely?
In your state, lye is hard to come by because people use it to make harmful illegal evil drugs.
One positive thing about your state is there are a lot of hydroponic shops.

If you walk into a hydro store and buy Advanced Nutrients pH UP (no other brand) you will have a liquid solution of KOH which is just as strong as lye.

Trust me on this. Ordering lye is far more sketchy than ordering MHRB. Take that into consideration.

Umm, sorry, california isn't my real state. I put that there because it is where I used to live. SWIM, I suppose, lives in colorado.

Also, I started looking at some stores nearby that might have it. Ace Hardware only carries Rooto® Crystals of Household Lye Drain Opener. But wouldn't there be a bunch of other chemicals in that aswell that he won't want to add to his experiments?

I am very thankful for all the help people have given me so far. Really, I am.

I just want to make sure the first time ends in disaster so I am trying to get every detail I can.

I hope so. Since I've found this site the price of the project has been cut over 50% and has become a lot easier and much more understandable. The only thing left to do is buy the lye or the equivalent you mentioned which I'm looking into now.

How should this step be adjusted if I use "Advaced Nutrients pH UP" in place of NaOH(Lye)?


2.Prepare some basified water by fully dissolving 200 g (~13 measured tablespoons full) of NaOH powder into 2 L of tap water in a large measuring cup.

Just add a bunch, slowly, until it's jet black and your layers separate instantly. The naptha should separate from the basified solution almost instantly, not over a long period of time. And if they do not, you can just simply add more ! Overkill is OK!

So keep just 2L of water and continue adding pH UP to the bowl of broken MHRB while mixing until substance is total black then add naphtha instantly without letting the bark soak?

At this point in the step by step process (Step 2 that I posted asking adjustments for) the naphtha has yet to have been added

So it seems one more question still lurks me:

Is it as sketchy to buy pH UP by advanced nutrients online as it is to buy lye? I wouldn't think so.
