Rextal(esque) from sludge

SWIM's Friend recently did a STB on some prepowdered MHRB. Now SWIM took the sludge that was left over after dissposing of the soup. and put it in a smaller jar. The liquidly sludge is about 2.7-3 oz. SWIM heated up some Naptha and put 20 ml in the sludge and mixed around. The sludge has been sitting in warm water for about and hour.

SWIM plans to slowly let the jar cool in a hot water blath for the next hour or so. Then swim will take off naptha and put in a new warm bath and let it cool to room temputre over night. Then tommrow will slowly bring up to fridge temp and once there will stick in the fridge till DMT will hopefully start to form. Will remove to cool to room temp before the crystals dissolves and put back in fridge. repate 1 to 2 more times then freeze percip.

My hopes are to get some decent size crystals from the sluge. Has anyone ever done this before? And could share some pointers or tell me if i am doing something wrong?

I will post pictures after they sit in the freezer for a day or two.

all that heating is going to result in more fats and oils in your yield. if it's crystals you crave, take your cleanest spice, dissolve it in piping hot heptane and allow to cool and evap slowly in a place out of direct sunlight. 2 days is usually the trick for making some beeg, honkin' babies... ;~)

Great advice, I'm sure, BUT what do you think about his idea to "refine" his sludge?

I'm curious, as I have ended up with a bit of it myself, and am unsure of all my options....
